Dear beloved Ghanaians, both within our homeland and across the globe,
The Lord, by His sovereign power and mighty arm, has created the earth, humankind, and every living creature. As declared in Jeremiah 27:5:
“It is I who by my great power and my outstretched arm have made the earth, with the men and animals that are on the earth, and I give it to whomever it seems right to me.”
This profound truth reminds us that God alone holds ultimate authority over all things, including leadership and governance.
A Call for Trust in God’s Sovereignty
As our nation prepares for the elections, I urge every Ghanaian to exercise your democratic right to vote according to your convictions. Your choice should reflect your personal values and aspirations for our beloved Ghana. However, remember this: the final decision lies with God. He appoints leaders according to His divine wisdom and purpose.
Do Not Be Swayed by Fear or False Prophecies
In this critical season, I caution against heeding declarations from individuals posing as prophets who are not sent by God. These false voices often seek to incite fear and confusion. Instead, anchor your trust in the Lord, who has always guided and protected our nation.
Ghana is a blessed land, and as we have always done, we will continue to rise above divisions and challenges. Let no one be intimidated or worried by the noise of doubt or negativity. The nation Ghana will live in peace.
A Prayer for Ghana
Let us commit to prayer for our homeland:
- Pray for wisdom and discernment for all voters.
- Pray for peace to reign before, during, and after the elections.
- Pray for our leaders, that they may serve with integrity and humility.
As Psalm 33:12 reminds us: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His heritage.” Let us hold fast to God’s promise of peace and prosperity for Ghana.
A Message of Hope
My fellow Ghanaians, whether at home or abroad, let us remember that our collective unity, faith, and trust in God are the pillars of our national identity. Let us strive for harmony, respecting one another’s choices, and believing in the divine plan for our nation.
God bless our homeland Ghana, and may His peace, Shalom, rest upon us all.
Yours in Christ,
