On Wednesday’s edition of the Daily Dew Show on Philfree Radio, Disciple Freeman delivered a thought-provoking sermon titled “The Power of Resurrection.” Based on Philippians 3:1-11 and Romans 8:11, Disciple Freeman emphasized the significance of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, highlighting its life-changing impact on believers.
Disciple Freeman’s sermon explored various scriptures, including 1 Corinthians 6:14 and 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10, to underscore the importance of Christ’s resurrection. He concluded with a powerful message: “Death is not the end; there is an afterlife (eternal),” referencing Matthew 22:28-32.
Reverend Michael Oppong Essumang provided valuable insights into the significance of Jesus’ empty tomb, highlighting three main purposes:
- To Reveal God’s Redemptive Plan: The empty tomb demonstrates God’s power and love for humanity, fulfilling His plan to save humanity (Psalm 16:10, Acts 2:22-29).
- To Give Hope: The empty tomb gives believers hope for a living and eternal future, guaranteeing their own resurrection and eternal life with God (1 Peter 1:3).
- To Give Power: The empty tomb demonstrates the power of God and the authority of Jesus Christ, enabling believers to live victorious lives and fulfill God’s purposes (Ephesians 1:15-22).
Nana Adwoa, the HR Manager for Philfree Company Limited, concurred with the points made by Disciple Freeman and Reverend Michael Oppong Essumang, emphasizing that believers have the power of the Holy Spirit living within them, enabling them to live victorious lives (Romans 8:11).
This powerful message serves as a reminder of the significance of Christ’s resurrection and the impact it has on believers’ lives. As we reflect on the empty tomb, may we be reminded of God’s love, hope, and power, and may it inspire us to live victorious lives.
